The BaBylissPRO Dual Coil Hair Trimmer is very well made and feels quite weighty in your hand. You just know it's quality made by just the way it feels. The trimmer comes with a charging base, brush, charging cable and instructions. The blades are very sharp and initially when I used it I was scared I might nick myself but I didn't. There is only a single speed and the motor is very powerful. The specs is that it's 8500 RPM which appears to be one of the fastest trimmers around. When ON, the clear plastic housing illuminates a blue color in some of the spots. It would have been nice if the blade cover was a bit nicer than the clear plastic cover it comes with. The hair trimmer is one of the more expensive options out there.Overall, it's a very good and capable hair trimmer at a very premium price.

I’m a hairstylist, I ordered this BaBylissPRO Dual Coil Trimmer, Proffessional Cordless Hair Trimmer- Precision Detail & Line-Up, and the quality is outstanding! It comes with a USB-C cable, a charging stand, & a zero gap adjustment tool. This is a salon-grade trimmer, so it does have some weight to it, however, it is a bit lighter than many of my other trimmers, which is really nice, & the longevity seems to be very promising. It features a removable magnetic cleaning door, making cleaning quick, easy, & super convenient! I love the ergonomic design, it feels nice in my hand, it’s easy to pivot, & maneuver, and offers great precision. It’s comfortable to hold & easy to use in a salon-setting for an extended amount of time, it runs consistently with great stability, and I didn’t experience any overheating. It very durable, the rear & front lower half of the housing is all-metal, and the front upper half is a very durable, transparent plastic. The noise level is very low, & is more of a soft hum verses a loud buzzing sound, which is really nice. It’s great for all hair types, cuts through thick coarse hair with ease, and functions & performs incredibly well. It’s great for detailing & clean-up work, it’s very powerful, the blade is incredibly sharp, It delivers sharp, clean, crisp lines, & I didn’t experience any biting, pulling, bogging, or skipping. It can be charged using the halo base, or by plugging directly to the bottom of the trimmer, it takes about 1.5 hours to charge, & has a 1.5 hour runtime. My only complaint is that it does not come with a protective cover for the blade, which I feel is important for the longevity of the blade, & the run time falls short when compared to my other trimmers, especially for the price. It also does not include a charging block, oil, or a cleaning brush, which isn’t an issue for me, but maybe for others, so I feel it’s worth noting. Overall, it functions and performs incredibly well, it’s a great new addition to my work station, & I’m very pleased! At the time of this review, it’s priced at $299.99, and it’s my opinion that it’s reasonably priced when compared to other comparables of the same quality. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

For clarification, this is the trimmer, companion to the clipper. A lot of people conflate the word trimmers with clippers, but the former is for detail work and getting close to the skin while the latter is for cuting hair but leaving some length. In practical terms, this trimmer is great for fades, cleaning up side burns, and lowering a beard or ‘stach’s volume. It’s only for haircuts if you want to shave it all off.With that said, this Babyliss dual coil trimmer is fantastic and a true professional device, rather than a “pro” moniker on a consumer gadget. You get that feeling as soon as you lift it out of the box. It has definite heft thanks to the dual coil motors and mostly metal body. That weight, used correctly, provides excellent control.It’s molded with lots of divots for fingers and thumbs to rest in and make the trimmer feel part of you. That and the rubberized lower handle give me the confidence to move quickly without fear it will slip away or out of my hand as well as preventing cramping and fatigue. The power button is a large nub and in easy thumbs reach the instant you need to turn it off, but it’s not overly sensitive where it will cause accidental shut offs if you bump it while trimming.The included deep tooth blade is a top notch zero gap MIM titanium. Paired with the 8500 RPM dual coil motor it gives a ridiculously smooth and even trim, even on thick, coarse hair. This is what makes it pro in my opinion. Another advantage is that it’s a bit quieter than most other pro trimmers, and definitely “home” trimmers I’ve tried, though that doesn’t mean It’s silent by any means.Aside from aesthetics, the other nice feature is the magnetic hair pocket that traps hair so it doesn’t end up in clothes or other unwanted places. Of course, hair pockets are standard in most trimmers, but I like that this one is held in with a magnet to make opening and closing easy and fast.Battery life is as advertised. I left mine on for a couple hours to test it and only then did it shut down. I’m not a professional barber so that’s more than enough time for me. Since trimmers are a secondary device for barbers I imagine that all day time for them too except maybe Saturday.Last, I must touch on cool blue LED and visible dual coils. This adds nothing to the functionality of the trimmer but gives an exciting look to an otherwise boring tool. The included USB-C charge stand also has a blue glow ring. While a USB-A to C cable is included you’ll have to supply your own USB charger. Since this is a trimmer, not a clipper, no guards are provided either except for the

I have both the trimmer & clippers and both are awesome! They cut very close & precise. I’m not a professional but I always like quality and these hair cutters buzz right through my hair evenly. Others always missed some hairs so you’d have to mow over & over again.

This is a massive game changer in my work flow. This is not a cheap buy but it is worth every penny

Wow, these are super sharpe out the box, I think these are zero gapped, don't use these on kids, and if you have sensitive skin or a client, do not use these they will break skin easily, you must be super light handed, which will take practice for some of your but please be careful. I've lined up my hair and it's sharpe and crispy, I do think you will love these, it handles well, rubber grip, small, and easy to use, just dont ever apply pressure ever.

I picked this up because I was intrigued by the design, and I have to say it’s one of the coolest-looking trimmers I’ve used.Right out of the box, it feels premium. The all-metal housing has a solid weight to it, and the clear body with the blue LED lighting gives it a very unique look. It definitely has that professional barber-shop feel.Performance has been excellent as well. It cuts through bulk surprisingly well for a trimmer and has plenty of power for detail work, lineups, and general grooming. The blade is sharp and cuts cleanly without pulling.One thing I did notice is that it's a bit smaller than some of the COCCO clippers I've used in the past. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it was noticeable when I first picked it up.My biggest complaint is the value. For a trimmer that costs around $300, I would have liked to see some guards or attachments included. At this price point, getting just the trimmer and charging stand feels a little bare-bones.Overall, this is a very impressive professional-grade trimmer. It looks fantastic, feels premium, and performs extremely well. The only thing holding it back for me is the high price and lack of included accessories.
