Our Story
All Things Men was born from frustration—the kind every barber knows too well.
Picture this: You're ready to start your barbering career or upgrade your station. You land on a barber supply website and see hundreds of clippers, dozens of trimmers, endless accessories. Who We Are
I'm a licensed barber since 1995—over 30 years behind the chair. I've cut thousands of heads, trained dozens of barbers, and worn out more clippers than I can count. I still have my very first set from barber school: an Oster 76, a Wahl Master, and an Andis T-Outliner. All corded. All still working. All still cutting.
But here's what makes All Things Men different: I'm also a licensed electrician (since 2003) with nearly 30 years in the electrical field.
I completed a rigorous 5-year electrical apprenticeship—8,000 hours of hands-on work and 600 hours of theory—before earning my state electrical license in 2003. That's over two decades of licensed electrical expertise combined with 30 years behind the barber chair.
That means I don't just sell you clippers—I can tell you why a rotary motor is better for precision work, why a pivot motor delivers more torque for bulk removal, and how design, maintenance, and usage can affect tool longevity. I can explain the difference between brushless motors and magnetic motors. I can walk you through cord replacement, motor maintenance, and why some clippers run cooler than others.
