Purchase Options & Layaway Cancellation Policy

At All Things Men, we offer a flexible layaway program to make purchasing professional barber tools, equipment, and supplies more convenient. By selecting our Layaway Program at checkout, customers acknowledge and agree to the payment terms, cancellation procedures, and applicable fees outlined below.

This policy applies exclusively to purchases made through the All Things Men Layaway Program. Standard purchases are governed by our separate Refund & Return Policy.

 

Layaway Program Terms

Our Layaway Program allows qualifying customers to divide their purchase into two scheduled payments.

• Minimum Purchase: $250 in qualifying merchandise.
• Initial Payment: 50% of the layaway purchase total at checkout.
• Final Payment: Remaining 50% due 60 calendar days after the initial payment.
• Setup Fee: $35 one-time layaway administration fee.
• Grace Period: Seven (7) calendar days after the scheduled final payment date.
• Interest: No interest charged by All Things Men.
• Credit Check: No credit check required by All Things Men.
• Shipping: Layaway merchandise will ship only after all required payments have been successfully completed.

 

• Your second and final payment will be automatically charged to the payment method used to start your layaway 60 calendar days after your initial payment, unless you pay the remaining balance early.

Customers are responsible for reviewing their payment schedule and ensuring their payment method remains valid throughout the layaway agreement.

 

Customer-Initiated Layaway Cancellations

Customers may request cancellation of an active layaway plan at any time before the merchandise has shipped.

All canceled layaway plans are subject to a 10% restocking fee, where permitted by applicable law.

The 10% restocking fee is calculated using the merchandise subtotal of the layaway order, excluding taxes, shipping charges, and the original $35 setup fee.

• A 10% restocking fee applies specifically to canceled layaway plans.
• The original $35 setup fee is nonrefundable where permitted by law.
• Applicable restocking fee will be deducted from payments already received.
• Any remaining eligible balance will be refunded to the customer's original payment method.
• All remaining scheduled layaway payments will be canceled after the cancellation is processed.
• Reserved merchandise will be released from the canceled layaway agreement.

Restocking charges will not exceed the amounts actually collected from the customer. Fees are subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

 

Missed Payments & Grace Period

If a scheduled final layaway payment is unsuccessful or remains unpaid, All Things Men provides a seven (7) calendar day grace period beginning after the original payment due date.

• Customers may complete their outstanding payment during the grace period.
• All Things Men may send payment reminders or notifications.
• If the outstanding payment is not received by the end of the grace period, the layaway agreement may be canceled.
• Future scheduled payments will be stopped upon cancellation.
• Merchandise reserved under the agreement will be released.

Layaway plans canceled due to nonpayment are subject to the same 10% restocking fee, where permitted by applicable law.

The original $35 setup fee remains nonrefundable where legally permitted. Any remaining eligible funds collected will be refunded after applicable deductions.

 

Layaway Cancellation Refunds

When an active layaway agreement is canceled, eligible refunds will be determined using payments actually collected, minus applicable and legally permitted restocking fees.

• Approved layaway cancellation refunds will be initiated within five (5) business days after cancellation is processed.
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.
• Additional processing time may be required by the customer's bank or payment provider.
• The 10% restocking fee and applicable nonrefundable setup fee will be identified when determining the eligible refund amount.

If All Things Men cancels a layaway agreement because merchandise is unavailable or we cannot fulfill the purchase, the customer will receive a full refund of all payments collected, including the setup fee. No layaway restocking fee will apply.

 

Changes to Active Layaway Orders

Customers wishing to change merchandise, quantities, or other order details must contact All Things Men before the layaway purchase has been fully paid and shipped.

• All changes are subject to product availability and approval.
• Changes affecting the order total may require an adjustment to the remaining payment balance.
• Customers will be informed of any payment adjustments before changes are finalized.
• All Things Men reserves the right to decline changes that cannot reasonably be accommodated.

 

Completed Layaway Purchases

A layaway agreement is considered completed once all required payments have been collected and the merchandise has shipped.

After shipment, cancellation under the Layaway Program is no longer available. Any eligible return, exchange, refund, or warranty request will be governed by our published Refund & Return Policy.

Professional barber tools, grooming products, sanitation supplies, bundles, and other merchandise remain subject to the product-specific return restrictions outlined in that policy.

 

Layaway Restocking Fee vs. Standard Store Returns

The All Things Men Layaway Program has a separate cancellation fee structure from standard purchases.

• Active Layaway Plan Cancellations: 10% restocking fee on the merchandise subtotal, where legally permitted.
• Standard Non-Defective Returns: A separate 15% restocking fee may apply to eligible items under our general Refund & Return Policy.

The 10% layaway restocking fee does not replace or modify the terms of our standard Refund & Return Policy.

 

How to Request a Layaway Cancellation

To cancel an active layaway agreement, customers must contact All Things Men before shipment.

Please include the following information:

• Full name associated with the order
• Order number
• Email address used at checkout
• A statement requesting cancellation of the layaway agreement

Cancellation requests must be reviewed and processed before the agreement is considered canceled. Customers will receive confirmation when their cancellation has been completed.

 

Customer Responsibilities

By enrolling in the All Things Men Layaway Program, customers agree to:

• Review the payment schedule and applicable fees before checkout.
• Maintain an accurate email address and valid payment information.
• Complete scheduled payments by their applicable due dates.
• Contact All Things Men promptly if assistance or cancellation is required.
• Understand that merchandise will not ship until the layaway agreement has been paid in full.

 

Policy Updates & Consumer Rights

All Things Men reserves the right to update or modify this policy for future purchases.

Changes to this policy will not retroactively alter an existing layaway agreement without appropriate customer consent.

All fees and cancellation terms are subject to applicable consumer protection laws. Nothing in this policy limits any customer rights or remedies provided by law.
